The Eagles rank #1 in drafting since 2012 and #14 in retaining those picks. We extend AP's 2025 retention study with snap-weighting and 12-year coverage. Here's what that gap actually means.

Eagles rank #1 in drafting output since 2012 by snap-weighted, position-adjusted measure.
Eagles rank #14 in retention of those drafted players over the same window.
Only Baltimore and Kansas City rank top 5 in both.

How this extends prior work

Josh Dubow’s AP piece in September 2025 ranked teams by retention using a binary roster/IR snapshot for the 2021-2024 draft classes. Cincinnati, Kansas City, and Detroit topped that list.
